Why we are doing this

The best way we know to learn a field is to build something real in it.

We want to do more work in real estate and land. We know AI well, but we know much less about how your work actually runs, from pulling county records to getting a deal closed.

That is why these builds are free: you get a working tool, and we get to learn the field and write about what we learn.

What this is

By Crux will build free AI projects in November 2026 for land professionals chosen from applications. Applying does not guarantee a build.

Selection

We choose at our sole discretion and may decline any application for any reason. We announce the two winners on November 5, 2026.

You own it

At handoff you own everything we build for you: the code, prompts and workflows. We assign it to you with no fees and no obligation to keep working with us.

Our content rights

We may show, describe, screenshot and discuss the build and its results in our content, at any time, with no payment. We will not publish your private data or your customers' names. We will name your company only if you chose to be featured by name on the form. If you chose not to be featured, we will not feature your build. If you chose anonymous, we will not name your company, including when we announce the winners.

Handoff

We hand over the code, documentation and a walkthrough call. That ends our obligation. We provide no ongoing support, maintenance or warranty. The work is provided as is.

Running it

If you run it in production, you pay for your own hosting, cloud and API costs. We move it onto your accounts at handoff.

Your information

By Crux keeps what you send us confidential, except as the content rights above allow. You confirm you have the right to share it.

What we need from you

You give us the access, data and time we reasonably need. We can pause or end a build if we cannot get them.

We can change the dates or end the program.
