Montaj is one app for content creators, from idea to posted. Find trending ideas, script them in your voice, plan your calendar, edit with AI and schedule every post. Editing is free with Claude or ChatGPT, and your footage stays on your computer.

What Montaj does

  • Plan: trend research and daily ideas for your niche, a brain dump, scripts in your voice, a Plan board and a content calendar.
  • Make: a teleprompter for filming, AI video and carousel editing with Claude or ChatGPT, auto captions, templates, and a real timeline to finish by hand.
  • Post: auto-schedule every post through tools like Sprout Social or Metricool. Teams on Studio get client review links and approvals.

Editing is free. Planning and scheduling come with Montaj Hub.

Video providers built in

Users bring their own keys. Kinovi is built in and recommended for video and images, with Seedance 2.5 as the default model. It ships in the next Montaj release. Kling and Seedance on fal.ai cover video, Gemini and OpenAI cover images, and ElevenLabs and Gemini cover voice and music.

Connecting Kinovi

  1. Open Connectors. Find Connectors in Montaj.
  2. Get a key. On the Kinovi card, click Get a key and create one on Kinovi.
  3. Connect. Paste it and click Connect. Montaj checks the key and shows the credits left.
  4. Ask your AI. Your AI writes the storyboard, you approve it, and Kinovi makes the shots.

Questions

Which video models does Montaj offer?

Montaj doesn't resell models. Users bring their own keys: Kling and Seedance (on fal.ai) and Kinovi for video; Gemini and OpenAI for images; ElevenLabs and Gemini for voice and music.

Is there a Windows version?

Yes. Montaj runs on Mac (Apple silicon) and Windows, and a version for Intel Macs is coming.

How do partners integrate?

Montaj builds the connector. Users connect their own key, and pay the provider directly. Montaj adds no credits and no markup.
