Referral Program Terms

What qualifies as a referral
A warm introduction to a real person or team who needs AI built: agents, automation, or custom software. Cold lists, scraped names, and casual curiosity do not qualify. The referral must have a real project and budget.
When you get paid
A referral pays out only after the referred client signs and pays for the work. Unsigned leads and introductions that do not convert do not earn a payout.
How much you earn
You earn 10% of the project total on your first successful referral, and 20% of the project total on every referral after that. There is no cap on what you can earn.
Retainers
For ongoing retainer engagements, the referral pays out on the first month of the engagement.
One referrer per client
A client can only be referred by one person. Credit goes to the first person to introduce a given client. If more than one person introduces the same client, the earliest introduction on record is the one that earns.
No duplicate referrals
You cannot refer the same person more than once. A given individual or team counts as a single referral, regardless of how many times they are introduced.
How payouts are handled
Once a referred deal closes, we reach out to confirm your payout details. Payment is issued after the client's payment to By Crux has cleared.
Changes to the program
By Crux may update these terms or adjust the referral program at any time. Referrals already submitted and confirmed are honored under the terms in place when they were submitted.
